Jessica L. Cohn is an associate in the New York office
of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. and a member of the firm’s litigation
Prior to joining Herzfeld & Rubin, Ms. Cohn’s practice
focused on complex civil litigation. She represented
construction companies, contractors, ownership entities,
restaurants, and corporations in premises liability and labor
law actions. She also has experience navigating high profile
mass tort actions, having defended her clients in matters
arising out of the 2014 East Harlem gas explosion and a 2007
steam rupture in midtown Manhattan.
Ms. Cohn graduated from New York Law School. She was
acknowledged for her contributions in International Human Rights
and Mental Disability Law: When the Silenced are Heard (Oxford
U. Press 2011) and Mental Disability and the Death Penalty: The
Shame of the States (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers 2013). She
received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from The George
Ms. Cohn is admitted to practice before the New York and New
Jersey state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the
Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.
