Jessica K. Rauskolb is an associate in the New York office of
Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. Her areas of practice include German law
and practice as well as US civil litigation. The emphasis is on
products liability, safety matters, electronic discovery,
privacy law and data protection.
Jessica was born in Germany and educated in both Germany and
the United States. Two of her High School years she spent in
Monterey, California where she graduated from Santa Catalina
School in 1995. After her return to High School in Wolfsburg,
Germany, she was awarded the Abitur in 1997.
She completed her German legal studies at the
Georg-August-University in Göttingen after successfully passing
the First State Exam. As a result, she was awarded the Degree of
Diplom Jurist. Jessica was admitted to the German Bar in 2007
after the successful Second State Exam, which was preceded by a
rigorous 2 year training program required of all German
attorneys, the Referendariat. She then went on to obtain her
Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University in 2012 and was
admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey that same year.
She is a member of the American Bar Association.
Jessica is admitted to practice law before
the courts of the Federal Republic of Germany and before the New
York and New Jersey state courts as well as the United States
District Court for the District of New Jersey.
She is fluent in German and English and holds dual German and
