Margo K. Ceresney is an associate in the New York
office of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. She practices in the firm’s
Tax, Trusts and Estates, and Real Estate departments with a
focus on estate planning, estate administration, estate
litigation, elder law, special needs planning, and
commercial and residential sales and acquisitions.
Margo earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning
from the University of Miami School of Law in 2012, the only
full time LL.M. program in the United States with a unique
combination of taxation and estate planning, taught by the
nation’s leading experts, and providing a strong foundation of
sophisticated estate administration and planning in dealing with
the transfer of wealth to others.
Margo earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University
School of Law in 2010 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree,
magna cum laude, from Brandeis University.
Margo is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey,
Florida, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and
Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the New York
State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association,
and the New York City Bar Association.
